Bid Co-ordinator - Swindon & London

Hours of Work: This is a Part Time Role working 3 days per week, generally 9am-5.30pm, however flexibility is essential.

Carter Jonas, one of the leading firms of national Chartered Surveyors and property professionals, is seeking a Bid Co-ordinator to work as part of the Business Development and Marketing team. The volume of bids being experienced, as well as their complexity, means that we now have a requirement to appoint a dedicated coordinator to undertake the more routine tasks involved in such work.

Whilst the Bid Coordinator will report directly to the Business Development Director, as they gain experience their main day-to-day contacts will become the firm’s senior partners involved in handling our competitive bids.

The objective of the role is to support the Business Development Director and other senior partners within the firm, in all bid activity. Your responsibilities will include; managing and assisting in the project planning for each bid, maintaining a central repository of bid best practice on the Intranet and the maintaining of a central bid report.

You will be a highly capable and experienced administrator who is keen to develop further. The successful candidate will need to be highly proficient in all the core MS Office products and be keen to use technology to maximise efficiency. As the role will involve working directly with senior partners of the firm it is crucial that the candidate is able to operate effectively and comfortably at this level. Good communication skills, an eye for detail and a high level of personal and professional impact and credibility are equally important. The ideal candidate will also have some copywriting experience.

Marketing Data Administrator – Northampton

Hours of Work: This is a Part Time Role working 2.5 days per week, timings can be flexible.

Carter Jonas, one of the leading firms of national property consultancy professionals, is seeking a Data Administrator to work as part of the Business Development and Marketing team.

The increased size of the business has emphasised how important our client and contact data is to the firm’s business development objectives. As a result, we are shortly to be implementing a project which will result in Carter Jonas having one central system for all our key contact data.

To maximise the effectiveness of this data, we need to appoint a Data Administrator to have overall responsibility for the integrity of the data held on the system, as well as to act as a focal point for User enquiries.

The Administrator will be part of the firm’s Business Development and Marketing Team, but on a day-to-day basis will deal with a wide range of end users including the Research Team, the Divisions and the IT Team.

The successful applicant will be a self starter with the ability to work to deadlines and tasks without constant supervision. You must be a team player with sound interpersonal skills, excellent I.T skills, excellent communication skills especially over the telephone and email and the ability to write clearly. Organisational skills are essential for this role.

Marketing Executive – London

Full Time Position
Monday – Friday, 9am-5.30pm (flexibility required)

Carter Jonas, one of the leading firms of national property consultancy professionals, is seeking a Marketing Executive to work as part of the Business Development and Marketing team.

The increased size of the business has emphasised our need to bring in an additional Marketing Executive to our team.

The objective of the role is to support the Marketing Manager in developing and maintaining all aspects of the firm’s brand and marketing communications. You will also provide assistance to the Business Development Director in the development of an effective business development programme throughout the firm.

You will be responsible for managing and assisting in planning the annual schedule of corporate events, coordinating and assisting with the creation of all external marketing communications alongside the Marketing Manager, You will also assist in the coordination of all digital marketing and the updating and content management of the firm’s website.

The successful applicant will be a team player with sound interpersonal skills. You will have excellent IT skills, excellent communication skills especially over the telephone and email and the ability to write clearly. Organisational skills are essential for this role.

Working within a team environment, this post requires a candidate who is able to manage the administration work behind a busy residential sales and new homes team of 6 people, including maintaining client relationships, speaking with prospective purchasers, arranging viewings, typing and organising reports and ensuring a high level of customer service and professionalism.

The successful candidate should have strong Admin, IT, Problem Solving and Organisational Skills.

Residential Development Surveyor - Oxford & Newbury

Carter Jonas, one of the leading firms of national Chartered Surveyors and property professionals, is seeking an experienced development surveyor to help continue to grow its residential development business across the South.
Working within one of the firm’s Regional Residential Development Teams and acting for a broad range of corporate, institutional and private clients, the role principally involves:

  • identifying purchase and disposal opportunities for development sites
  • buying and selling identified opportunities
  • carrying out appraisals and valuations of proposed developments

You will have appropriate experience of dealing with all aspects of residential development, backed by strong communication and presentational skills.  Tenacity and the drive to succeed will be important attributes, together with the ability to take the initiative and form long term business relationships.
